Our Campground
Our family-friendly campground offers options for tent camping and self-contained RVs. Whether you are paddler, a fisherman or in the area to enjoy the Cherokee National Forest, settle for the night in our campground. Our amenities include the best bathhouses on the river with flush toilets and hot showers, picnic tables, a camp sink for washing the dishes, and a camp store.
Our Store
The Hiwassee Outfitters store stocks all your essentials for a memorable visit, including outfitter gear, camping supplies, and snacks.
Whether you are looking for last minute personal items for your paddle on the river or clothes/shoes, camping gear, snacks, drinks or beer, we have it. Additionally, if we don’t have it, our Knoxville store probably does and it can be shipped directly to you.

The Hiwassee, rated Class II & III, is ideal for beginners and families. Rent a raft or inflatable Funyak (“Duckie”) and run your own trip without a guide.
We provide all necessary equipment and shuttle to the put-in below the Appalachia Powerhouse.
